This is me. I'm a....

Hey there! 👋🏻 I'm Brandon. I've been a product designer for 20+ years. I love tackling complex challenges through design thinking and collaboration. I believe design can be used to solve common everyday problems as well as the big social problems of our day.

I'm particularly interested in EdTech, HealthTech, and Non-profit organizations.

If there is one thing that I've learned throughout my career, it's that leader is just a title and that leadership is a mindset. I enjoy jumping into the trenches with both feet as much as leading the charge up the hill, and I'm capable of both. My UX Grab bag study shows how I led a team to improve it's processes and my Bridge Talent Mobility case story shows how I was neck deep in the trenches.

I'm awesome at high speed cornering. You now know my lie if we play 2 truths and lie.

When I'm not designing interfaces, solving complex interaction problems, or facilitating workshops, I'm usually out on the trails on my bike. I love riding, and not just for the thrill of it. I love riding because it's taught me how to accomplish hard things and embrace the suck. (Ever try to ride up a mountain for 4 miles at 6,000 ft. elevation? 😉)

Of all the titles that I've had, Dad is the one I cherish most. 😎
